I started practicing yoga on and off 20 years ago. I was an avid runner and triathlete. While in Florida on a family beach vacation, a beach yoga class was offered, so I got up ran a couple miles to the class and then ran back after – realizing the profound difference in my body on the run back, much more ease and grace in my movements. This began my journey into yoga. Over time the mind/body/breath connection really has been life changing for me so I love to share this practice with my students. I was certified by Tiffany Cruikshank/Yoga Medicine in 2017 in California. This RYT-200 certification is very alignment based with an emphasis on anatomy. I incorporate my love of fitness and strengthening work into my yoga practice. Yoga has helped me heal from various over use injuries and adrenal fatigue and truly learn to take time out each day to quiet my mind, breathe, and truly listen to my body. I have found Yoga to be a powerful practice to open our hearts, heal our bodies and calm our minds. Join me on the mat!
